New life brought in to her beloved family home in New York's charming West Village.

When Moore fell in love with her West Village NYC townhouse almost 20 years ago, the five-level house that initially was a single-family home was divided into separate apartments.

The renovation was orchestrated by her husband Bart Freundlich's architect brother, Oliver Freundlich, and his then-partners Ben Bischoff and Brian Papa. The makeover took a year and a half. Since then, the actress is stocking the house with original pieces ranging from renowned designers to un-pedigreed but sympathetic vintage discoveries.

"She moved the living room downstairs, where it could serve as a casual, semi-cloistered family hangout, and brought the kitchen upstairs. - I cannot recommend more strongly putting your kitchen somewhere with lots of natural light. It changed everything. "
